Brief Summary

                            Business Systems Tester


Job Role: 
Leads software quality evaluation and implementation of external and internal technology solutions. With limited supervision, performs routine work assignments and problem resolution to support other team members. Leads the delivery of technical solutions as a business team member focused on Test criteria definition, development, and execution.

Minimum Requirements:  
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Liberal Arts, or equivalent work experience; Up to 10 years relevant business or general analysis experience, particularly within an Oracle PeopleSoft Financials domain.

Preferred Requirements:   
•	Experience documenting business rules and traceability of business rules to test conditions and cases;
•	Experience with a defect logging tool (e.g., StarTeam, Harvest, STAT);
•	Ability to analyze and recommend the extent of functional testing required based on project requirements;
•	Responsible for writing test cases and conditions;
•	Responsible for mapping test cases and conditions to requirements;
•	Experience executing test cases and test conditions in a testing environment (e.g., Integration Test, System Test);
•	Experience documenting requirements and traceability of requirements to test conditions and cases using a requirement management tool (e.g., DOORS, Rational Rose);
•	Experience developing and recording test cases through an automated tool (e.g., Test Director), or aptitude to learn;
•	Experience analyzing, writing, testing, and/or troubleshooting business rule management systems (e.g., Experian’s Strategy Management or PowerCurve; FICO’s Blaze, Triad, or Falcon; IBM’s ILOG); 
•	Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel; 
•	Experience in using and/or designing SharePoint tools (e.g., issue tracking lists, project tracking lists, workflow/approval rules, etc.); 
•	Mercury WinRunner/LoadRunner/Astra QuickTest Pro; 
•	Ability to write and speak effectively;
•	Must be willing to work overtime;
•	Must be willing to work day or night shifts and to rotate to either shift during the contract period
•	Ability to work quickly in a team environment
